Ethical and Policy Guidelines

In order to ensure that our work best benefits our clients and their customers, the internet community, and society as a whole, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason and will not respond to requests for copy from websites or print publications that:
  • Engage in, support, encourage, or advocate illegal or fraudulent activity. Engage in, support, encourage, or advocate racial, religious, or other forms of intolerance or hatred.
  • Engage in generally acknowledged unethical web practices such as producing scraper sites or sites that do not benefit the Internet as a whole.
When placing an order with GetWebContent writer, you agree to:
  • Notify GetWebContent of any necessary changes or revisions within five days after receiving a working draft or product. By agreeing to this policy, you understand that GetWebContent's responsibilities under this contract are limited to a one-time revision of content to correct errors and bring it into compliance with the requirements specified in the Proposal. You further understand that any requested additions or changes not consistent with the instructions contained in the order and revision Process constitute new copy and will require an additional payment.
We provide content and other editorial services on an exclusive basis and will never distribute duplicate material to multiple clients. To ensure our clients' privacy, we will not reveal client contact and business information to any third party whatsoever unless so ordered in a court of law.

Upon delivery, clients receive unlimited rights to use, reuse, reformat, and publish - online, in print, or both - GWC copy for their own personal and business use without any further payment to us.

An electronic memorandum of understanding specifying the nature of the content to be provided, the subjects to be covered and the relative importance of each subject to the whole, will be executed by GWC and the client prior to work commencing. In the event the deliverable fails to meet the specifics in the memorandum, it will be corrected - and completely rewritten, if necessary -- at no cost to the client. Client-mandated changes or additions to documents otherwise meeting the specifications noted in the memorandum will be performed at a reduced rate.

GWC makes every effort to maximize the search-engine "curb appeal" of all content written for the Web via keyword analytics and other advanced SEO techniques. Since content is only one of many factors (over 100, in Google's case) search engines consider in ranking pages, we cannot offer any guarantee that adding copy to a particular website will result in changes to its page rank or search return position.
